Good use of resources. How many people were murdered in Atlanta that night? It's all about the Benjamins (and skimming a few for everyone involved).

And cops wonder why they get a bad rap.

yeah, they probably brought it on themselves. I just get tired of the gov't trying to dictate what should be an individual's choice. The AJC ran a poll asking if poker should be legal and 85 percent said yes. All polls are around 85 to 90 percent pro legalization of gambling..........so why is it still illegal ?

In MD, cops dont care if you play poker for money as long as the house doesnt take any money.

it is sad that they are wasting there time busting people playing poker when the real child molesters/murders are out there ...pathetic bullshit

i dont know if this was the same bust but found this:

Glenn "Disco Inferno" Gilberti remains in custody today after being arrested last night on gambling charges. No bond has been set and Gilberti is at the Roswell GA Detention Center awaiting transfer to the Fulton County facility where a bond will be set. The transfer is expected to take place later today or tomorrow morning.

Gilberti faces felony gambling charges after Roswell police raided a high stakes poker game that Gilberti is alleged to have operated along with a partner. Local authorities say the raid was the largest gambling bust in the last 20 years. Dozens of people were arrested and face misdemeaner charges while Gilberti and his partner face harsher charges for organizing the game.

What a joke!

I was about to play in a game about a year ago, but when I got there I recognized some faces from when I got busted. I was not sure if it was ATF, FBI or ICE, but I knew I recognized them. I told my friend ( who was not on probation) and he played and just let me split with him. I sat on the couch and watched the game proceed. Drugs were everywhere and I just sat there and watched and even the guys that I recognized were smoking weed and nothing happened. What a great country we live in.

It's their job to arrest you and uphold the law. Dont take that shit personally. After they take that badge off, their normal people like you and me.

If some random person who turns out to be a trashman for his 9-5, do you expect the him to take out your trash when he's over your house playing poker?

I personally, never had a bad experience with cops. Most of the time, the small run in's I have had were when a riots were about to go down after a basketball or some sort of sporting event. I was joking with them the whole time the game was going on. It was like 10 of them and they were all cool as shit.
